Installation Guide

Connect dry contacts between input terminal and common. For 3-wire proximity sensors, connect +24V, common, and signal. Do not exceed 28.8 VDC on any input channel. Verify field device sinking or sourcing configuration before wiring.

This IOTA module dissipates only 4.22 watts, minimizing cabinet heat load. The 4.7 kΩ input impedance prevents false triggers from leakage current. Channel-to-backplane isolation at 1500 Vrms protects the controller from field surges.

Q1: Can I mix sinking and sourcing inputs?
A1: Yes. Each channel configures independently as sink or source via terminal wiring.

Q2: What is the minimum ON state voltage?
A2: The module guarantees ON state at ≥15 VDC. Between 5V and 15V, the reading is undefined.

Q3: Does this support 12 VDC input signals?
A3: No. The CC-TDIL01 requires 24 VDC nominal. Use an interposing relay for 12 VDC field devices.
