The GE 369B1843G5003 Nexus Digital Input Module (MDI50) provides 32 channels of high-speed switch input monitoring. It supports dry contact or sinking current signals with 48V DC query voltage. Built-in SOE (Sequence of Events) recording with 1ms accuracy makes it ideal for turbine and generator trip monitoring and fault diagnostics.

Technical Configuration

This module accepts dry contact or sinking current inputs with 48V DC query voltage. The last 4 channels support pulse input (PI) function up to 1.5kHz. Signal filtering is firmware-configurable from 3 to 50ms (default 24ms). LED indicators provide clear status for each channel, module operation, communication, and fault alarms.

Mount the module using standard screw terminals (2.5mm² wire capacity). Connect dry contact or sinking current inputs to the 32 channels. For pulse input applications, use channels 29-32 (last 4 channels). Configure signal filtering via firmware based on your application requirements. Ensure proper grounding and maintain isolation distances from high-voltage lines.
