Installation Guidelines (Field Engineer Notes)

Chassis Installation: Insert module into any available slot in SLC 500 chassis. Power off before insertion. Secure with captive screws to 0.6 N·m.

External Power Supply: Module requires external 5V DC power supply for output circuitry. Connect +VDC to common terminal. Use 1.0 mm² wire minimum.

TTL Logic: Module uses inverted logic. A NOT instruction is required in the program to negate the naturally inverted logic.

Programming: View data table in binary, decimal, octal, or hexadecimal. Drag and drop operation supported in programming software.
