Mount on DIN rail vertically. Keep 15mm spacing on sides and 40mm spacing above and below for ventilation. Connect Protective Earth for Class I operation. No external mains filter required.

A2: Hold up time is 29 ms at AC input and 120 ms at DC input. This keeps the output stable during short power interruptions.
Q3: Does SD831 have a supervision relay?
A3: No. SD831 does not include a supervision relay. For monitoring functions use external supervision devices or select other ABB power supply models with relay output.
