Install the power supply in the first slot of the 1746 chassis. Ensure input voltage matches the 85-132 / 170-250 VAC range. The 24VDC output may be used for external devices, but is not recommended for powering output modules. Use 1746-F1 fuse or equivalent for protection.

Hold-up Time Information

The hold-up time feature allows the processor to continue logic processing when input voltage drops below nominal. At full load, 20 ms hold-up is provided. At no load, hold-up extends to 3000 ms. Normal operation resumes when input voltage returns to nominal.
