Installation & Torque Guidelines

Mechanical Mounting: Mount the probe into an M10x1 tapped hole with a maximum thread engagement of 15 mm. For the first three threads, apply a recommended installation torque of 7.5 N•m (66 in•lb), not exceeding the maximum rated limit of 22.6 N•m (200 in•lb). Maintain a minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in).
Gap Calibration & Wiring: Set the probe gap to 1.0 mm (40 mils) from the target surface to center the -1 to -13 Vdc operational baseline. Fasten the ClickLoc coaxial connector finger-tight (do not exceed 0.56 N•m / 5 in•lb). Use three-conductor shielded triad cable for field wiring up to 305 meters (1,000 feet) back to the 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor.
