Module Installation: Insert into any available slot in Modicon Premium rack. Power off before insertion. Secure with captive screws.

Network Wiring: Use Profibus-approved cable with 150Ω characteristic impedance. Terminate both ends of the bus with 220Ω resistors. Maximum segment length is 1200 meters at 9.6 Kbit/s.

Address Configuration: Set Profibus slave addresses via software configuration. Each device on the network must have a unique address.

Power Check: Module draws 400 mA at 5V DC from rack power supply. Verify power supply capacity before installation.
