Description
Bently Nevada 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe (330701-00-30-10-02-00)
The Bently Nevada 330701-00-30-10-02-00 is a high-performance 3300 XL 11 mm eddy current proximity probe designed for linear position measurement and continuous shaft vibration monitoring in heavy industrial machinery. Featuring a 1/2-20 UNF threaded case with a 3.0-inch overall length and zero unthreaded length, this sensor comes equipped with a 1.0-meter (3.3 feet) standard cable terminated with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector. Weighing approximately 0.17 kg (0.37 lbs), it utilizes an internal Viton® O-ring for differential pressure sealing and requires no specialized agency approval (00 option).
Key Performance Advantages
Provides an extended linear measurement range compared to standard 8 mm probes, making it ideal for applications requiring larger gap distances. Built for extreme industrial environments, it features a nominal DC resistance of 5.9 ± 0.5 Ω and operates reliably across an extended temperature range from -51°C to +177°C (-60°F to +351°F) with a typical storage and operational shelf life rating of 1 year.

Installation & Maintenance Guidelines
- Mechanical Installation: Thread the probe into the mounting port using the 1/2-20 UNF threads up to a maximum thread engagement of 0.750 inches. Tighten to the recommended installation torque of 15.2 N•m (133 in•lb); do not exceed the maximum torque limit of 45.2 N•m (400 in•lb).
- Routing & Cable Management: Support the 1.0-meter cable along its route to prevent physical strain or excessive flexing near the probe base. Protect the unarmored line inside appropriate conduit in harsh environments.
- Connector Security: Securely lock the miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector into the matching extension cable to prevent signal loss or loose connections caused by high industrial vibration.
