Installation Guidelines (Field Engineer Notes)

Mounting: Mount on DIN rail or panel. Ensure adequate clearance for ventilation. IP20 rating requires installation in a protected enclosure.

Power Connection: Connect 24V DC ±10% to power terminals. Use 1.0 mm² minimum wire. Torque terminals to 0.5 N·m.

EtherCAT Wiring: Use shielded Cat5e or Cat6 cable with RJ45 connectors. Maximum segment length is 100 meters between stations. Ground shields at both ends.

Configuration: Configure using ABB DriveStudio or standard EtherCAT configuration tools. Set station address via rotary switches or software.
