Slot Installation: Install controller into any slot in ControlLogix chassis. Power off chassis before insertion. Secure with locking latch.

Network Connection: Use Cat5e or better for Ethernet connections. For safety communication, use isolated network segments or managed switches with IGMP snooping.

USB Connection: Use USB 2.0 certified cable. Direct connection to PC only. Do not use extension cables longer than 3 meters.
