- Probe Mounting & Gap Setting: Screw the 3.5-inch case into the machine bearing housing, accommodating the 2.0-inch unthreaded sleeve. Set the nominal gap to approximately -9 Vdc [1.27 mm (50 mils)] from the shaft target to center the measurement within the linear range.
- Cable Protection: Route the 1.0-meter cable safely using rigid or flexible protective conduit. Prevent exposure below -34°C (-30°F) during operation to maintain optimal pressure seal performance.
- System Connection: Firmly mate the ClickLoc miniature coaxial connector into a matching 3300 XL extension cable and Proximitor® sensor to ensure correct calibrated voltage response across the complete monitoring channel.
