Installation Guidelines (Field Engineer Notes)
Chassis Location: Install in any I/O module slot except slot 0. Slot 0 is reserved for the controller. Module occupies single slot.
Terminal Block: Replacement terminal block is 1746-RT25G. Pre-wired cables available in 0.5, 1, 2.5, and 5.0 meter lengths.
Recommended Cable: Belden 8761 or equivalent shielded twisted pair. Maintain 50mm separation from power cables.
Wiring: AIFM connector is 25-pin D-shell. Connect signal wires to appropriate terminals. Ground shield at the module end only.
