Description
Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe (330101-00-14-10-02-05)
The Bently Nevada 330101-00-14-10-02-05 is a premium 3300 XL 8 mm eddy current proximity probe designed for precision vibration monitoring and shaft position measurement in critical industrial machinery. Built with a 3/8-24 UNF threaded AISI 303/304 stainless steel case, an unthreaded length of 0.0 inches, an overall case length of 1.4 inches, and a 1.0-meter integrated cable with armor and miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector, this probe weighs approximately 323 g/m (11.4 oz). Its rugged Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) probe tip utilizes patented TipLoc molding for 30% higher bond strength and CableLoc technology to withstand 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength.
Key Performance Advantages
Features FluidLoc cable options to prevent fluid ingress up to 10 bar, a standard operating temperature range of -52°C to +177°C, and Viton® O-ring differential pressure sealing up to 5 bar. It supports a 2 mm linear range and holds CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certifications.

Installation & Maintenance Guidelines
- Probe Mounting & Gap Setting: Thread the probe body directly into machine casing or mounting brackets. Set the mechanical initial gap to approximately 1.0 mm (40 mils) from the target surface to ensure operation within the center of the 2 mm linear range.
- Cable & Armor Routing: Route the 1.0-meter armored cable away from extreme hot spots and sharp physical edges. Secure armor clamps to eliminate mechanical strain on the probe body connection points.
- Connector Protection: Ensure the ClickLoc coaxial connector remains clean and dry. Use extension cables and Proximitor® sensors with identical system length calibration (e.g., 5-meter or 9-meter matched systems).
