Installation Guide

Wire each channel using shielded twisted pair cable. Connect the shield to earth ground at the module end only. Do not exceed 750 Ω load resistance per channel. Verify 24 VDC supply polarity before powering the module.

Engineering Advantages

This module drives 16 independent 4-20 mA loops. Onboard diagnostics report open circuits and short circuits to Experion PKS. The CC-TAOX11 operates reliably from -40°F to 185°F, suitable for turbine halls and compressor stations.

Q1: Can this module output 0-20 mA?
A1: No. The CC-TAOX11 supports 4-20 mA only. 0 mA indicates a loop fault.

Q2: What happens if a channel overloads?
A2: The module reports a short circuit diagnostic. Each channel resets automatically after fault removal.

Q3: Is HART protocol supported?
A3: No. This module transmits 4-20 mA analog signals only. Use a HART multiplexer for digital communication.
