Insert the BMEP586040C into the M580 rack slot. Connect 24V DC power via the rack. Attach Ethernet cables to the service port and device network ports. Insert the 4GB flash memory card for data storage. Configure RIO scanner for up to 31 remote I/O stations. Verify the RUN LED illuminates green.
