T8153 is a communications interface adapter from ICS Triplex for the Trusted TMR System. It provides external system access to TMR processors (T8110B & T8111) via RS422/RS485 ports. Supporting IRIG-B time sync, MODBUS Master capability, and dual peer-to-peer, it is certified for Ord, HazLoc, ATEX, and IECEx environments.

  • Mounting: Clips directly onto the rear of Trusted T8100 controller chassis at the processor position.
  • Connection: Two 48-way DIN41612 connectors (SK1) interface with Active and Standby processors.
  • Grounding: Connect chassis earth to the PCB earth point for ESD protection and equipotential bonding.
  • Port Configuration: Set DIP switches for 2-wire or 4-wire RS422/485 operation on Ports 2 and 3 as required.
  • Disconnection: Use the release buttons to safely detach the adapter from the backplane.
