The Allen-Bradley 1794-IV32 is a high-density 32-channel discrete input module for the Flex I/O platform. It accepts 24V DC nominal sourcing inputs across a 19.2-31.2V DC range. The 1794-IV32 interfaces discrete field devices such as switches, auxiliary contacts, and sensors with PLC controllers. It draws 40mA at 5V DC from the FlexBus and communicates via a Flex I/O adapter. Installation Guide

Align the module keyswitch with the 1794 mounting base and turn until pins align with base connectors. Use the alignment bar and groove for proper positioning. Press the module until the latching mechanism locks in place. Connect 24V DC sourcing field devices. Select appropriate filter time (0.25-32ms) based on signal characteristics. Ground the module through the zinc-plated DIN rail to chassis ground. Install indoors only, at altitudes up to 6562 feet.
