Installation

Mount drive on flat vertical surface. Plate mount design requires custom heat sink or mounting plate for heat dissipation. Use M4 (#8-32) mounting screws. Torque to 1.56 1.96 Nm. Ensure adequate airflow around drive. Ambient temperature not to exceed 50°C. Use copper wire only. Power terminals accept 5.3 mm² (10 AWG) max.

Wiring

Connect 3 phase input to R/L1, S/L2, T/L3. Connect motor to U/T1, V/T2, W/T3. Switch any two motor leads to change direction. Connect safety ground to PE terminal. Use shielded cable for motor leads exceeding 15m. RS485 shield connects to I/O Terminal 19 and ground. Remove MOV jumper for ungrounded distribution systems.

A2: For 480V ratings with 1600V motor insulation, max cable length is 170m. For 1000V insulation, limit to 15m. Use output devices for longer runs.

Q3: Does this drive support encoder feedback?
A3: Yes. Closed loop encoder feedback is supported for enhanced speed regulation and position control. Encoder interface can source 5V or 12V power.
